What are the risks associated with lending?

Meria uses various decentralized finance protocols and compounders, as well as centralized platforms. These platforms are beyond Meria's control, and we cannot be held responsible for any shortcomings.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of the main risks associated with lending:

  • Counterparty risk linked to the failure of DeFi protocols and compounders (decentralized finance) and CeFi platforms (centralized finance)

  • Risk linked to the use of one of the blockchains (notably the failure of one of the blockchains used)

  • Volatility risk of the cryptoactives contained in the diversification of the service

  • Risk of loss of parity (de-peg) of the cryptoactives contained in the service diversification

  • Cryptoasset liquidity risk

  • Risk of funds loss (notably hacking)

  • Risk related to the economic and financial context
