What are the different KYC levels and the associated documents required?

Different KYC levels are available in the "Check my account" section and are carried out through Synaps.

Here are the different KYC levels and the required documents associated to it:

Standard level:

  • Client questionnaire

  • Identity document (ID card or passport)

  • Biometric verification

Advanced level:

  • Proof of address* (water, electricity, gas or residential telephone/internet bill. Cell phone bills are not accepted).

  • Proof of funds (your last income tax assessment, your last 3 pay slips, or your last 3 bank statements...)

*You are lodging with a third party or do not have a document under your name? Check the "I don't have proof of address under my name" box before submitting your documents. You will then be invited to submit:

  • A proof of address under your host's name (water, electricity, gas, or residential telephone/internet bill. Cell phone bills are not accepted).

  • The host's valid ID* (driving licenses are not accepted).

  • A sworn statement dated and signed by the host.

*For ID pictures, please pay attention to the following points:

  • Brightness (natural lighting, flash off);

  • Sharpness;

  • All four corners visible (only the page with personal information is required for passports);

  • Do not show your fingers on the documents.

NB : driving licenses are not accepted.
